For many days, there has been a hot debate. Should we accept the immigration bill? The Senate’s legislation is trying hard to legalize unlawful immigrants. Wednesday’s compromise failed. On one side, the Republicans, wanting to deny illegal immigrants citizenship and the other side, the Democratic, wants to reunite legal immigrants with many of their family members. Different state senators propositions ranged from providing more green cards to requiring all of the adult immigrants to return to their home until they qualify for permanent lawful status. This bill would toughen border security and set up a new system for sifting through illegal aliens from their workplaces. Even now this bill is going through many transitions and compromises.
In my opinion this bill is important. Obviously, it will help our problems with the number of illegal aliens, but also help diminish our problems. Especially with health care, insurance, crime, overcrowding schools, drugs, etc. Overall, immigration will still be a challenge. People will somehow find loop holes in the system.

In my opinion you make a very good point with the list of problems that "may" be "diminished". On the other hand, you should consider that the majority workforce in American are by immigrants. Although they come with problems so does every other group. By passin this bill families will be spli, the workforce will fall apart, and there is a guaratee that immigrants who have become citizens will protest. Just like the protests that have taken place in Downtown, Los Angeles. I really hope this immigration bill does not pass, but there seems to be little hope.
I agree with this comment above mine. The immigration bill goes against what this country, our country was based upon. If they do end up sending getting all of the "illegal" of the immigrants out of the United States I believe our economy will crumble. Shame on Washington if it passes
I believe that we, as Americans, should allow anyone from whatever country come to the US, but in a legal way. There are so many illegal immigrants out there, but they don't even want to try to become citizens. They refuse to learn english and they have the easy way of not even paying taxes. I don't think sending all the illegal immigrants back is the right answer, but i think that the work visas are reasonable.
I agree with the first comment that was posted illegal immigrants will cause more riots in los angelos. It is very unfortunate for these people because america is there way out I really hope this bill does not get passed. Illegal immigrants have only come to help our country not destroy it; they should be allowed in the United States of America
