Today many children's rights are being vioalted because they have special needs. Many parents are fighting a battle with special educators to provide their children with the servives they need. The school finally placed him in a contained class for emotionally disturbed children for one hour a day, but the teacher disagrees theat this child is need of these services. If you think your child has a disorder you should have your child evaluated by an expert.
In my opinion I beleive that the child's rights are not being violated. The mother can go to the doctor and get tests done and bring actual proof to the teacher showing that he actually has some type of syndrome.

I don't think that child's rights are being violated because the teacher is only suggesting such things, but also it's true that you can have your parents proove to the teachers that their children need to be placed in a "emotionally disturbed children" class, but I think if the teacher says that the child doesn't need these services, why not let the child try a regular course?
I mean, I'm sure the teacher has a lot of experiences. In addition, if I was a parent (but I'm not and I don't want to have kids) I would want my child to be treated the same as everyone, and if he/she really needs it because the child is doing poorly then I'll change courses.
I agree w/ you the child's rights are not being violated. I think the mother should have the child checked out by a doctor.
I think if the mother think's the child is emotionally disturbed, the school should put the student in the emotionally disturbed class. A mother would know what's best for her child.
In this summary it does not seem as though the child's rights are being violated. If the teacher, who is trained to be a professional person who helps children with special needs, does not see the need for that child to be in the class the parents should be glad that the child does not have to struggle while in school. If truly worried the parents should take their child to a phsychiatrist.
