campaign and money

Running for presidency requires an enormous amount of money. One would think that it would be a requirement to run for president, making the presidential elections seem as if it's a battle between who is richer, but having the most money doesn't guarantee a victory. There have been many who failed despite all the money they have. Though having money does guarantee an advantage of more publicity and votes and less problems. Those with funds can even afford to research the best way to campaign. It's tough luck for those without funds. They will just have to somehow manage, such as firing staff and shrinking their campaign.

This shows how everything is money-based. Just trying to become a President, to run the country and do good for it, money is required. To get their points and faces across, candidates spend millions and millions. That's not really fair. The rich are not always the best candidates, though there are some very capable rich people.

Money. Money. Money. you have to have it in order to run for office. There is now way a normal person can affored to run for an office of any kind. Sure there are indorsements, and donations, but to simply be known, in order to recevice them, costs money.

I know, seriously! There's like so many people that are so great and perfectly required to be candidates, but one problem, MULAH! Campaigns get expensiver every time and it's crazy how much they save up. Even with limits, it's hard raising and catching up to your opponents.

I agree that money is a big part of campaigning. The more money one has the better advantage like you said. However, even though it is unfair i still believe that the right candidate for the job can use other methods to advertise their campaign and still win.

I agree thats all they care about is money. Everytime they have a campaign it seems like they need more money and more and more etc. It's ridiculous.

True, true.....it does seem that money is required for everything. Sometimes though, it can backfire as a person might seem arrogant if he spent enough money to have a commercial every 10 seconds
