No Republican Canidate Front-runner?

In the recent poll done by the Associated Press, it found that almost a quarter of Republicans are not willing to back presidential nominations of Rudy Giulani, Fred Thompson, John McCain, or Mitt Romney. So far no canidate has emerged as the front runner as the Republican Presidential Canidate. In contrary, the Democrats race for their Presidential Canidate has two lead front runners, Hilary Clinton and Basack Obama. In addition to having major front runners for their canidate, the democrats have also outraised the republican party by $30 million.
Giuliani has been steadliy been losing popularity due do increased scrutiny from the media. Thompson is running evenly with Guiliani and is an ever incresing threat to the rest of the nominees. While all this is going on Arizona State Senator McCain and Mass. Govener Romney are the lowest in the polls.
This shows the elcetoral process before the primaries when the namiees are being made and how difficult it is to find someone to endorse a canidate or at least find a following in their own party. Sure 15% may be a lot of people but it still isn't up to par with other canidates.

I think that because the Republicans are currently in office that they were a lot slower in having candidates emerge as well as in backing one. As for the front runner it still appears as though Guliani is clearly in front because of his being well known and more sucess in fundraising.

Things are looking not so good for the Republicans. Maybe this time, the Democratic candidates will win. Clinton might make a good president. It seems that she is really competent, even back in time while Mr. Clinton was still in presidency.

The rupublican in office suck. They got us in to this Iraq mess. There might some other people that want to run but they are going to wait because rupublicans are not all that popular at the moment. Having Bush in your party is a definate negitive.

The Republicans are definitely slowing down in this election race. Although there have been a couple Republican drop outs and more voters siding with the Democrats, there's nothing that can really be done to speed up the Republican side.

I think people want a change and that maybe this year a democrat will win. I also think after bush and all the war n everything people don't want a republican president, but thats what i think.

I agree with theyellingqueen about how the war and bush's presidency has a huge affect on how this election is going to turn out. Maybe thats why the republicans haven't established a front-runner.
