Small donors give big to Obama

Summary- The Illinois Democrat Mr. Obama baced on this article has just outplayed his other competitiors for the presidency by tapping into and getting himself indorced by people that give less then $200 to his campaign. These people actually amased into an unusually large nimber of supporters and providers and gave a good $9.7 million of the $33 million he has owned so far in the second quarter of this years election. In the first half of the year he raised $58.5 millon and is giving the compotition a run for there money.

What I think- I am in full support for Obama and his nomination for the president of the united states. He may be young but from this article you can tell hat he is fully qualified for the position.

I agree with your desciosion...and am interested in this article....Obama has been extremely resourceful in his raising of money, and i think that is the right kind of President for us.

i really think that candidates running for president should have a limited amount of money to be spent for their campaigns. not only should he have a limit. it should be a law for all candidates that they cant spend over a certain amount of money, or else they be kicked out of the competition

The article perfectly demonstrates the massive amount of money candidates pour into the campaign. I agree they should have a limit because we're talking about millions of dollars that could be used to benefit other important things.

It seems all thease canidates are doing is rasing money. It makes sense, but it is kind of sad at the same time. Now running for president means you are just rasing as much money as you can. I agree that there should be a cap on a canidates spending money. If everyone spent the same amount there would be no need to raise so much to out do you opponent.

I argree with lucascentric003 and that the candidates should have limited amount of money. Because using all this money for just campaigns is insane. We could be spending this money on other issues in our nation.

I believe laws should be passed to limit the money spent but only to a CERTAIN EXTENT; any more and that could bring up issues with the constitution

Yeah I think that Obama is getting a lot of money. Lately he's been getting endorsed by many people and also Oprah. It sure seems like the other candidates are going to have to step it up to catch up to him.

This whole Presdidency finance thing is importanat, I know. But! It really just looks like a competition of, "Who's the richest!?" because SO MANY articles are about the financial race between the candidates.
