Guiliani's Strategy

Article
Former mayor Rudy Guiliani has raised more money than the rest of the Republican candidates but is still short of the marks set by Obama and Hilary. Despite having less campaign money he has a plan to gain as much support as possible. Because the Democrats have more money, they can spend more to defend large states such as California where advertising is expensive. Guiliani's plan involves spending more money in swing states that have voted democrat in the past but may vote for him now.

Comments
Rudy Guiliani is going about his campaign in a very realistic way and rather than trying to win over states with big impact he is trying to maximize the number of states he can win. Because Guiliani is accepted by democrats more than the other republican candidates he is likely to win the nomination because he can win the swing states that he is spending is money in.

I think I understand this canidates strat. And I agree i think it will work, though all his work might be undone if the canidates with all the money decide to campaign in the same states. (bound to happen)

I think with this strategy, he can actually leave his mark on the states. Instead of candidates swinging all over the states saying hello, and good bye, Guiliani stays for a while get to know the states and spread his devotion and spends his money wisely!

I think this is a good way to influence people to vote for him and hopefully winning the support of the swing states.

Very smart, targeting states who get less political action. No one would have suspected. A clever way to spend what campaign money he has.

Guiliani's strategy for gainning a democratic vote lead on the other republicans seems really ingenious. However, I don't think Guiliani has a chance against the democratic candidates, because of their ability to make history.

I agree that this a is a good strategy. Trying to get more support than the other candidates is more important than the money in an election like this, and by spending the money he has on swing states it is better because of the votes.
