The sixth term senator, Joseph Biden, is the eight democratic candidate to enter the 2008 United States presidential elections. In a video statement, Biden stressed the disasterous results of Bush's failed policies and handling the Iraq situation. Biden stated, "In my view, President Bush has dug America into a very deep hole. This administration's mishandling of the war in Iraq may be the greatest foreign policy disaster of all time." He also emphasized the need for change in direction in both foreign and domestic policies.
I agree with Biden's criticism of the Bush Administration and the way they are handling situations like the war in Iraq. The war in Iraq is pointless! Yet we spend all this money, time, and effort for oil, terrorism, and possession of illegal weapons. But if you think about it there is a cycle of fear that would never end because the economy isn't going to rely on oil forever, terrorism will never cease and will exist all around the world, possession of illegal weapons can secretly be brought out anywhere. The point is the Bush Administration isn't doing a good job on dealing with these situations so by finding another alternative, suggested by Biden, it would be better for the people and economy. Also, Biden believes we need the people to feel secure with healthcare, retirement, that we are doing all we can to end global warming, and more job opportunities.

Unless Biden is just trying to get his name out there, I don't see any reason for him to enter as the eighth candidate. He will not win and will just waste money to gain publicity.
the guy has nochance of winning he is the 8th candidate he should use his money for better things.
i also agree with you guys that biden is just trying to stand out and also already stating things that everyone knows just to get attention.
Dunno what ole Biden is thinking, but it really is WAY too late to enter now. Everyone knows bush screwed up and the new presidents hope to fix this. He wont get far as most everyones attention are focused on Obama and Clinton
I think this guy is really believing that he's going to be Mr. President. Also, I think he just pointed out something that a lot of people already know. It was pointless.
